Sara is currently accepting harp students of all levels, ranging from beginners to advanced harp players. She has studied extensively with both Susann McDonald and Lucile Lawrence, two of the most prominent American harpists of the 20th century. Her studies with Miss McDonald include her Undergraduate Degree, Master's Degree, and Artist Diploma, all in harp performance, from Indiana University. She also studied with Lucile Lawrence at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute in Lenox, Massachusetts for five summers and began her undergraduate studies with her at Boston University. Sara has extensive training in both the French technique and the Salzedo technique.
Lessons are offered weekly, and are either 30 minutes or 60 minutes, depending on individual needs.
30 minute lessons are most appropriate for very young students and beginners who are getting
the hang of the instrument. 30 minute lessons are $35 dollars per lesson.
60 minute lessons are recommended for most students. The full hour allows for any questions
or technical issues to be addressed in greater detail. 60 minute lessons are $50 per lesson.
